About Me
Hello Parents and Students,
My name is Clint Linneman, and it is an honor to be your teacher this year! This is my sixth year of teaching, and my first year in third grade. I grew up here, and am proud to call Gillette my home! I graduated from Campbell County High School, and from Black Hills State University. I spent five great years as a volunteer in a kindergarten classroom at Wagonwheel Elementary (in Sylvia Jankord's class), and student taught in first grade at Paintbrush Elementary (in Demaris Dishion's class). I also had field experiences in Spearfish and Rapid City, South Dakota, as well as Sundance, Wyoming. I am currently working on my Masters degree to one day become a principal.
I truly believe that in order for our students to be successful, they need to be engaged in the learning, and they need to feel safe in the classroom at all times! I set up the classroom to allow for a great amount of choice and freedom. With this, I focus very heavily on responsibility and how to interact with classmates. We look for positive attitudes, giving our best effort at all times, and taking risks in our class.
I believe in our students! They are capable of doing amazing things, and my goal as a teacher is to guide them to success. It is going to be an amazing year, and I cannot wait to see what they will accomplish by the end of the year!
